As a business owner, you have to wear a lot of hats — and whether you like it or not, that often includes the tech hat.
When you find something tough, it's easy to procrastinate and avoid doing what needs to be done.
That’s why we created Tech Club — to support business owners to work on their tech, with help, support and accountability to get those tech tasks off your to-do list.
Lewis started Cleracomms after quitting his corporate job, where alongside his day job, he supported his colleagues to overcome their tech challenges and help them to do more with less effort.
Since starting Cleracomms, Lewis has worked with a number of clients who put off tech tasks in their business because they found it dull, difficult, and frustrating.
Yet, all of those clients knew that they needed tech to help grow their business — but many couldn't afford to delegate it to someone else.
After helping many of these clients one-to-one, Lewis decided there had to be a way to make help more accessible and affordable to small businesses.
That's why Lewis launched Tech Club — an affordable way to help you to work on the tech in your business, while also giving you access to a patient Tech Buddy to answer the odd question and support you when you get stuck.
The more you work on the tech in your business, the more confident you'll feel!
Learn how to use new tools or essential tech skills that will help you and your business.
When you have the confidence and the tech skills, you’ll achieve more.
to keep you focused and accountable to get those tech tasks done!
when you get stuck or need to ask questions — and no question is ever silly or stupid!
where you can help and support each other as you develop new skills and grow in confidence.
We want to make sure every person who signs up to Tech Club gets great value from their subscription.
You need to know that Tech Club is going to help you develop relevant skills and help you to boost your confidence with Tech — so we like to make sure you’re a great fit for us and that Tech Club is the right fit for you.

Tech Club is primarily about building your confidence with tech to help you to get better at the things you do every day at work using a computer, tablet or a smartphone.
Drop-in sessions are 10 - 15 minute one-to-one sessions where a Tech Coach will work with you on a specific challenge, while the informal group sessions run as interactive workshops, where we cover things people who subscribe to Tech Club want to cover.
The weekly co-working sessions are run using Google Meet (which is free to use).
The session begins by each member of the group sharing what tech task they’re going to be working on today.
We’ll then focus on our individual tasks in 25-minute blocks using the pomodoro method.
If you get stuck, you can hop into a breakout room to ask questions and to get a bit of one-to-one support. To keep things fair, we cap the one-to-one support to 10-minutes to ensure we can help as many members as possible.
Yes, we require everyone who wants to join Tech Club to complete a short application form, to help us to check whether they’re likely to benefit from the group.
For some, the co-working sessions and ad hoc support may not be sufficient to meet their needs — in which case we can offer an alternative service that may help them better.
As we’re sure you can appreciate, supporting people with differing ability levels in a group setting can present challenges, which is why we introduced the application process.
Nothing! This isn’t school, it’s simply a group you can use as needed to get tech stuff done and access help as you need it.
We moderate our community to ensure that it remains a supportive and respectful place for all members.
If you feel that an individual member’s behaviour is not supportive or respectful, we encourage you to report this to Cleracomms directly, so we can take appropriate action.
You can find out more about how Cleracomms manages personal data by reviewing our privacy policy on our website.
If you have any specific questions, please email [email protected]
We don’t want to unnecessarily delay anyone getting access to Tech Club, so we aim to process applications quickly — and we do this by keeping the process fairly simple.
You fill in a simple application form and answer a few questions — don’t worry, it’s not a test!
Then, we’ll review your application and check whether Tech Club is likely to be a good fit for you.
If your application is successful and we feel you’re a good fit, we’ll send you a message to let you know your free 30-day trial has started.
If we don’t feel that Tech Club is right for you, we’ll let you know and suggest an alternative that may suit you better.
We aim to respond to applications within 72 hours but they are often processed more quickly than that.
No. The monthly subscription is the only cost associated with Tech Club.
On occasion, we may offer other courses or other services to Tech Club members, but these are entirely optional and any costs for these will be clearly stated.
Anyone is welcome to apply to join Tech Club from anywhere in the world.
However, we are only able to bill in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
If you experience any technical issues using our service, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected]
We use our application process to try to assess and group our members’ ability levels, so we can place them into similar ability groups.
For people who are total beginners, really struggle using tech or experience severe tech anxiety, we will often recommend our Tech Coach service, which can support them more effectively.
